One Person Documentary

Meet Kaylee Tolson: a is an enthusiastic BYU-Idaho sophomore who enjoys a myriad of hobbies. Kaylee has lived in a number of states. She is the oldest child in her family and loves to sing songs. Kaylee served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2017 and 2018 to Iowa where she practiced speaking the Spanish language which she studied for years prior to her mission.

Kaylee has been playing the piano for over 13 years and has competed in dancing competitions. She loves to help others through service. Kaylee was planning on studying Spanish and English Education but has recently changed her plans so she can pursue a degree that has more to do with Science. She loves to learn and have fun. One fun fact about Kaylee is that she never skips leg day no matter what.

I first met Kaylee back in 2016 and immediately felt her warm personality and became friends with her. I received weekly emails from Kaylee while she was on her mission and this one week she sent a video of her and her companion trying to throw a bag full of trash into a garbage truck and it was very funny. This film project was fun to accomplish as I got to know Kaylee Tolson even better.
